Who is Heating Kentucky?
Heating Kentucky is a promotional arm of the Kentucky Petroleum Marketers Association. The mission of Heating Kentucky is to promote the use of home heating oil, educate homeowners on its benefits, and provide training opportunities for those looking to service oilheat equipment.
Through collaboration with the National Oilheat Research Alliance – a federal program authorized by Congress in 2000 to provide funding that enables the liquid fuel heating industry to provide more efficient, more reliable and lower carbon home heating and hot water to American Consumers – Heating Kentucky exists to support Kentucky homeowners and fuel distributors.
Heating Kentucky Rebate Program
The Heating Kentucky Rebate Program is offered through the Kentucky Petroleum Marketers Association. Your local fuel distributor understands that your new heating equipment is an investment in your future, and we want to make it possible for every homeowner to enjoy the long-term savings and peace-of-mind that come with a new aboveground heating oil tank or higher-efficiency heating equipment. Research has shown that property owners with new, high-efficiency heating equipment are more satisfied with their comfort level and fuel choice. And comfort and satisfaction are what turns a house into a home.
Boiler or Furnace
Up to $1,000
for the installation of a new or upgraded higher-efficiency oil-fired boiler or furnace in a residential home.
Fuel Storage Tanks
Up to $1,000
for the installation of a new or upgraded aboveground oilheat storage tank on residential property in Kentucky.
Additional Tax Credits
Up to $600
for the installation of qualifying oil-fired furnaces or hot water boilers according to the Inflation Reduction Act.
